Aristocrat (Flowering Pear)
Fast growth to the horizontal branching habit resulting in a strong pyramidal form. Very handsome, glossy green, large leaves have wavy margins, become brilliant purple-red in fall in colder areas. Profusion of white blooms, early spring. Deciduous, medium-sized ornamental tree. Grows to 40 feet.
Bradford (Flowering Pear)
Snowy white flower: bronze-red foliage; medium-size tree. Excellent for street plantings. Self-nonfruiting, not pollinated by regular pear varieties.
Chanticleer(Flowering Pear)
The growth habit is dense, narrowly pyramidal, and evenly branched with crisp glossy green foliage. New growth shows a reddish tint. It has a heavy abundance of single white flowers in the spring and outstanding reddish-orange to purple fall color. It reaches a height of 30-35 feet with a spread of 15-18 feet.
Prunus "Krauter Vesuvius" (Red Leaf-Flowering Plum)
Oval, upright form. Single light pink blooms. Dense purple foliage. Sparse fruit. Heat tolerant. Height 15-20 feet.
Redspire (Flowering Pear)
This is a tightly pyramidal tree with larger and more abundant white flowers than Bradford. It reaches 30-35 with a 25 foot spread. Fall color is yellow to red. Excellent appearing tree for lining streets and garden planting.
