Produces a vigorous tree that produces excellent crops of high-quality fruit in its early years. Phytophthora root rot resistant, but sensitive to high pH soils.

A popular, trifoliate rootstock that is moderately dwarfing in comparison to Carrizo. It tolerates heavier soil types well. Considered to be a more cold hardy rootstock than Carrizo.
