Do you sell Bareroot trees or Potted trees?
Both!

Sierra Gold Nurseries has been growing bareroot trees for 70 years. Bareroot tree production takes place in our nursery growing grounds alongside the Feather River in the fertile Sacramento Valley of Northern California. We go through several steps to ensure that our trees are grown at the highest quality. Our bareroot trees are dug out of the ground, cleaned, and graded. After grading is completed, we store the trees in our 28,200 sq. ft. cold storage and maintain a temperature of 36-38 degrees.
Our containerized trees come in pots that contain almost ½ gallon by volume of media and are 4’’ in diameter by 9’’ tall. The Ellepot is made up of a specialized degradable membrane filled with a custom mixed soil-less growing media. This thin membrane allows great aeration and drainage, eliminates transplant shock, and its air pruning system develops with no circling roots which promotes a large quantity of young vigorous quality roots.

How do I plant my potted trees?
To plant our potted trees, dig a hole approximately one foot deep and half a foot wide. Place the entire pot into the hole, ensuring that the top of the pot is a couple inches below the surface. Do not remove the thin paper membrane from the pot. Cover the pot with about an inch or two of soil. Water the tree regularly, focusing on irrigating close to the base of the tree, especially while it's young. This encourages the roots to penetrate through the paper membrane.
How long will it take for trees to produce fruit?
It will take 2-3 years for your trees to produce fruit.
